Remembrance Day

Right now I feel as if people aren't really getting serious about Remembrance day.
At school I saw many people discard their poppies and many were lying on the floor.
I was shocked!
It's amazing how drastically the world has changed.
Nowadays many people take certain blessings and certain virtues for granted instead of embracing the fact they have something that isn't available to everyone in the world.
We need to remember the veterans that sacrificed their lives so we can have a better one.
Remember these soldiers never got to see their families again.
Some didn't live to make their dreams come true, to have a bright future.
They won't be able to watch their kids grow old and wish them a happy birthday anymore.
Lots of soldiers in the past were only young adults some even less than 20 years old!

Their children won't grow up with a mother or father anymore.
They needed them
Their families will never watch their little boy/girl grow old
They needed them
Their friends will forever no longer have a friend to cheer them up
They needed them
WE will no longer have someone to thank for protecting us all
WE needed them

So this Remembrance day please look deeper to see how much these men/women have gave and sacrficed for us
